I am a STAP trained supervisor. I can support you on your journey to getting clinical psychology endorsement, or if you are already endorsed and seeking supervision, happy to help you. My areas of most experience in terms of presenting problems include the treatment areas that are listed on my site. My treatment approaches and theoretical orientations are also listed… so you may like to check that to see if I seem like a good fit. I like to provide my supervisees with a mix of process driven and content oriented support. I am conscious not to delve into the area of therapy within supervision, but I think it is important to explore your own schemas and vulnerabilities as that obviously impacts your work, and when this is indicated I will do so in a compassionate and gentle way with you. By the way if you are visiting because you are interested in seeking out therapy with me, I am all for it! I think it is important for psychologists to do therapy themselves. I am mindful of the complications that might arise for you in doing this, and will talk through any confidentiality concerns you have.
